Hello Lynn, how have you been? I apologize there hasn't been much action in this group lately. Here's a great article to hold you over: Social Media Beachcombing: Survival of the Twittest? http://bit.ly/o2HFZ

Enjoy,
Ro

It has done wonders for me since I picked it up in Oct. Surprising I hadn't started prior to that. Thank you for the information.

Yes, Public/Media Relations during the day for a green architectural design firm and Public/Media Relations after hours for www.RIPPEDusa.com.

I love social media, love to learn and love to coach and equip others with this information to reach out to and utilize news fans and customers. Twitter events like #Tworco and #Journchat are ultra helpful ... At the end of the day it's all about relationships and time management. Social media will help you do both and do them better.

I agree. Addicting, but not as time consuming as you'd first think. Once you get the hang of it, and schedule the tweets ahead of time. I have scheduled time for it, or I'd be there all day. You have great info. I'd love to know more about what you do, and how you manage your time. Scott mentioned you do marketing for Ripped.

Hello ladies, remember you control your Twitter and Social Media use. When done properly, SM should take up no more than two hours per week. It's like your e-mail inbox ... If you don't regulate it, you'll spend your entire work day answering e-mail instead of being efficient and accomplishing tasks.

And have fun! Social Media is full of people who want to socialize. Engage, and enjoy.

Cheers,
Ro

PS- Yes, it was awesome meeting you last week Nicole. We definitely need to attend that Tweetup once a month. Great convos and tools.
