Hi Joyce - yes, I'm one of the newer MD's and a dear fan of Maryanne. Just saw her last week in Naples, Florida. She looks great! Doing Well! You and I met last year at conference. I was one of your customers and later that evening we went into town with 25 other crazy women.
Thanks for sending you note. I did check out your website and I have to add that Dusting is not a must. I'd rather pay someone else to do that stuff, if it is a must!
Just last Friday, while on vacation in Florida, I was sitting on the beach with a dear friend, Maryanne Preston. As we were enjoying our cocktails, our conversation included all the wonderful organizations where women gather. She was excited to tell me about your new venture with this site.
Thank you for the time devoted to puting this together. Though many of us are so many miles aways, you've created an easy resource for us to bond and share.
Welcome Annette! Love the "exquisite" in your company name. Sounds very high-end. And your advise about re-evaluating every 3 months is excellent! I hope everyone on the network reads it. Thanks for joining. How did you hear about the site? We'd all love it if you'd pass the word to other women business owners. Thanks and have fun.

I have been in Real Estate twenty years. Camelot is a brokerage firm I started about five years ago, that markets beautiful estates. This is not a brokerage, rather a full service organization hired to secure, clean & patrole foreclosed houses.

Rochester Hills and Birmingham, Michigan

How did you (or plan to) fund your business startup?
personal savings, friends and family
What was (is) the biggest hurdle in getting your business off the ground?
Establishing the Name and reputation. There are alot of huge competitors that are franchised. Camelot is a specialty type boutique service.
What would you advise other women interested in starting a similar business?
Save at least 9 months of living funds. Hold your head high and stay tough.
What has been your biggest mistake?
Taking the advise of others, without proper research or documentation.
What has been your smartest move?
Always re-evaluate on a three month revew plan. A business plan is easy to adjust as long as you review the past three months and massage the progress into a successful next three months.
