Talking to people, planning events where our name gets out there. Talking about it all the time. Having a great product, one that I can e proud of, having the highest standards.

I have been in the process of starting up for about 5 months now. I am looking for investors to help me open my own location, a bakery where clients can please orders, pick up orders, or just stop in for a vegan cupcake.

Describe your product or service, or the product you plan to introduce to the market.
As a vegetarian I know how it feels to miss out at a party, dinner, or special event. My pastries are designed to please a wide variety of people including Diabetics, Vegans, and those with allergies such as Gluten.
I make everything from wedding cake, to birthday cupcakes, to Vegan ice cream cakes, or dessert platters for special events.
How did you (or plan to) fund your business startup?
Credit cards, personal savings, friends and family, private investors
What was (is) the biggest hurdle in getting your business off the ground?
I started out with my personal saving, which ran out in about a month. We then moved on to credit cards, and household income. Now I am at te point where I am trying to find investors, some one how believes in my vision and wants to make a difference in the culinary world.
What would you advise other women interested in starting a similar business?
Plan, Plan, Plan.
What has been your biggest mistake?
Trying to do everything myself. Trying to self finance.
What has been your smartest move?
Talking to people, planning events where our name gets out there. Talking about it all the time. Having a great product, one that I can e proud of, having the highest standards.
