Welcome Ani. There are lots of other decorators on the site you can connect with. You can upload video and photos of your work and you can create "FORUMS" (see tabs at the top of the page) to ask questions of other decorators. You can even create a group just for designers. Remember to let all your women business owner friends know about this site. You can use the "invite" tab to send a messag to them about your page and inviting them to join. Hi ani, I sure need help in the decorating department. I would love to have nice decorating but am somewhat limited because of my dogs, money, and time to think/decide what would look nice and be practical for my house. It just doesn't come naturally to me...

I offer Consulting , Decorating , Custom Designed Window Treatments & Bedding, Color Enhancing, Accessories & Art selection, Faux Painting, Beautiful Wallcoverings, Redesigning, Outdoor Decor.
I Create and fabricate fabulous Fabric Totes & Hand Bags, Custom Made Beach Sarongs , Cover-ups and Swarovsky Crystal Earrings
How did you (or plan to) fund your business startup?
Credit cards, personal savings
What was (is) the biggest hurdle in getting your business off the ground?
I wanted to learn the Design Industry as much as I could , and as fast as I could. Finding out that you will never know everything enough to work for yourself and live out your dreams. I still educate myself with Industry Seminars and Classes, or even whatever interests me for the moment.
What would you advise other women interested in starting a similar business?
Make sure you research and ask others how they got started. Save as much money as you can. Keep on learning. Honesty is the best policy. Networking is a must these days. Never, ever give up your hopes and dreams , and have lots of FAITH!
What has been your biggest mistake?
Not pushing myself to my fullest potentials in Marketing myself.
What has been your smartest move?
Never forget to bring your Business Cards with you at all times and hand them out, always be friendly and kind so people remember you. Act confident but not cocky. Love what you do!
