Hi Jennifer--looks like we are both up late tonight! Feel free to give me a call and we can talk-949-632-4988. I may know of some people that may be helpful to you and I'd like to hear more about your company. Take care!
I would love to pick your brain as to what your spa looks for in your robe purchases. I own Luxureco an eco friendly company suppling spas, resort, hotels and cruise lines with luxurious bamboo bathrobes, towels and linens. I visited your website and I am ready for a facial :) Have a great day!
I'm very appreciative of the opportunity to do your books, especially because I get to do them in such a wonderful environment! For anyone who has not had a chance to visit Pura Vida spa, go check it out. It's not just a place for spa treatments; Leisa has a darling boutique up front which gives you a good excuse to do some shopping!!!
Hi Leisa,
this is a great way to communicate and I look forward to seeing soon. I leave for a business conference tomorrow am and back Sunday. I will call next week and see when we might have time for tea again.
cheers,
JUlie
Doing really well. I got my Manager Status with WOW Factor Cards and am looking at expansion with that. The spa is doing great too. We have a big "Glam Squad" Event coming up on 4/25. :)
Leisa,
What a lovely thing to say. You are more than welcome to visit WebMums and use the services, I feel that there are a limited amount of groups supplying great information for women, so when we all connect like this - we can effectively pool our resources and help each other.
Kimberley has founded a wonderful site here and has been so welcoming, everyone is incredibly friendly.
I just had a quick peek at your site and it looks fantastic and the concept behind it is really good. You should be very proud of yourself!
I've just created another networking site for small businesses based in Orange County, CA. Check out www.small-business-oc.com. It's a great place to promote your business locally.
Thanks! I've been great--very busy! I am one distributor away from manager in Send Out Cards, so keep your ears open for people who too busy to write thank yous or b-day cards. On a completely different note, I am developing a system for spa professionals to maximize profits in a minimal amount of time. So my brain is working constantly, but all for fun (else why would I do it)?
Ariana's sign ups for Kindergarten are next week! Agh! Max will be there before you know it. She still remembers him--she just brought him up the other day out of the blue.
If you are in business, what is the name of your business?
WOWFactorCards.com
Where did you get your idea for your business or the business you'd like to start?
As the former owner of day spa, I realized I wasn't following-up with my clients like I should be. I found the solution when I began to use an automated greeting card service. I decided to represent the company when I realized how much I could help other business owners become Follow-Up Superstars!
Where is (will) your business located? (City and State)
I live in Southern California, but my business serves a national audience (and 6 countries)!
If you already have a website, what is the address for your business?
How long have you been in business? (Or when do you plan to open?)
Since February 2007
How many employees do you have, if any?
6-10
What is your annual revenue?
I choose not to disclose
Describe your product or service, or the product you plan to introduce to the market.
I create Follow-Up Superstars and send your client appreciation skyrocketing! My clients select from 1000's of greeting cards that they can personalize (even with a photo on the front!) while we print, address, stamp and mail the cards (in the REAL MAIL). Each card is about $1 which is the cherry on the cake!
How did you (or plan to) fund your business startup?
personal savings
What was (is) the biggest hurdle in getting your business off the ground?
Staying motivated and inspired while working from a home office. Thank you, www.danijohnson.com!
What would you advise other women interested in starting a similar business?
Find networking groups that you enjoy and align yourself with powerful, positive people. Most definitely find a mentor--someone who will be there to advise you that you can trust.
What has been your biggest mistake?
Probably not hiring professionals soon enough--thinking I couldn't afford to outsource and doing too much on my own. An example of this might be hiring a bookkeeper--it is a must!
What has been your smartest move?
Networking and being open to any opportunities. I have met and been influenced by the most amazing women, simply because I was open to the opportunity.
Are you willing to answer questions from other women business owners about your business?
