Where did you get your idea for your business or the business you'd like to start?

I always enjoyed designing for friends and family, so I went back to school to study interiors in a structured setting. Prior to completing my design education, I spent more than 20 years working in corporate America and was interested in striking out on my own instead of working for someone else. Opening my own interior design firm was a way for me to work for myself, doing what I most enjoy.
