- Since I was little I had a creative bone. Straight out of high school I went to beauty college. Now I'm and independent contractor in Aliso Viejo, but I'm a traveling cosmetologist that does all kinds of occasions.

- I've had my license since 2000, so I've been doing hair and make-up for about seven years.

- What was (is) the biggest hurdle in getting your business off the ground?
- Out of college I chose to assist a few top hair dressers so that I can gain some industry knowledge...dedicating three years of my time so that I would be prepared to head up my own clients was difficult. Being that there are a lot of salons and hair dressers out there another big hurdle is getting clients in so they can see first hand my talents.
- What would you advise other women interested in starting a similar business?
- You have to enjoy what you do to make your clients happy with your work!
