- I am a certified wedding planner that used floral decor as an add-on service. After getting more requests for floral decor instead of wedding planning, I decided to switch the focus of my business to floral design and decor.

- Getting people to take me seriously- that I was not doing this as a hobby.

- Do your research! Learn as much as you can!
- What has been your biggest mistake?
- I quit my job to run my business full time. I did good for a while, but then everything fell flat. I had to go back to work to give me time to figure out why things happened the way they did- I did not have a marketing plan, which is extremely important.
- What has been your smartest move?
- Creating a marketing strategy and ramping up my marketing plan.
