If you are in business, what is the name of your business?
Wealth Harvest
Where did you get your idea for your business or the business you'd like to start?
I worked as a financial advisor for over 7 years and found that what I loved best about the business was coaching women on how to manage money, and increase their net worth. I am passionate about getting women out of the closet and into the business of their business. A lot of my clients treat their business as a hobby. I help them change that mindset to increase profits and value what they offer.
Where is (will) your business located? (City and State)
Petaluma, CA
If you already have a website, what is the address for your business?
How long have you been in business? (Or when do you plan to open?)
I started my coaching practice in February 2008, but have been doing this for the corporate world for over 7 years.
How many employees do you have, if any?

What is your annual revenue?

Describe your product or service, or the product you plan to introduce to the market.
I am a coach and have several different coaching packages. I also have a free newsletter and e-course being offered on my website right now. I also have a monthly Q&A call that is free of charge for anyone who wants to ask a question about money. And have started a membership site for those who want continual motivation.
How did you (or plan to) fund your business startup?
personal savings
What was (is) the biggest hurdle in getting your business off the ground?
Getting myself and my business recognized. I am working on that every day by marketing on line and finding new ways to market.
What would you advise other women interested in starting a similar business?
I would advise them to find out how to Brand there business and to learn all the marketing techniques available to them that are not expensive to do. To learn all the new on-line ways to market your business, including article marketing, web site, newsletters and why that is so important.
What has been your biggest mistake?
Spending to much on information I could of found elsewhere for less. Being impatient and building a website that did not match who I was, and having to redo it again which cost more money.
What has been your smartest move?
Going to a seminar that taught me all the on-line marketing techniques to get your business out in the world. Joining a mastermind of like-minded women to be accountable to.
