- I have always loved jewelry. In December 2005 I went to my first LBS (local bead store) to buy supplies to learn how to string beads. After I created my first series of pieces, it was my husband who suggested that I start a jewelry business and within a couple of weeks I had my website, research and business paperwork started.

- I create handmade gemstone, sterling silver, lampwork and chainmail jewelry.

- Patience and lack of marketing knowledge.
- What would you advise other women interested in starting a similar business?
- Do your research first. Find out if what you have is marketable and discover who your niche market is. Create a constructive line (or lines) and have a plan as to where you visualize your business being 1 year, 5 years, 10 years down the road. Ask other sucessful women in your field for guidance and advice.
- What has been your biggest mistake?
- Not truly seeing where my skills and growth would take me. Oh, LOL, and not having enough patience.

- Networking.
