Hi Kim,
For those of you who are hesitant about hiring a bookkeeper, give Kim a call! She changed my life and took off a huge burden for me when I finally gave up trying to "do it all." Thank you Kim for doing the things that I don't love (but you do).

What is your name?
Kim Hutchinson
Are you currently heading a woman-owned business?
Yes
If you are in business, what is the name of your business?
At Your Service Bookkeeping & Training
Where did you get your idea for your business or the business you'd like to start?
I wanted to start my own business doing bookkeeping and software training. I found out QuickBooks was the #1 software for small business owners. I took a couple of classes and fell in love with this software!
Where is (will) your business located? (City and State)
Conveniently serving all of Orange County, CA
How long have you been in business? (Or when do you plan to open?)
Since 2004
How many employees do you have, if any?
0
Describe your product or service, or the product you plan to introduce to the market.
Do you need help with your bookkeeping?
• Maybe your receipts are sitting in a shoebox in the corner of your office.
• Maybe you are frustrated with waiting to know how your business is doing.
• Maybe your business is getting away from you because you don’t have the financial information and reporting you need to make your business a success.
• Maybe you are discouraged with your current accounting software and would like to switch to QuickBooks.
• Maybe you have QuickBooks but feel like you aren’t using it to its fullest potential.
• Maybe you thought you could do your own bookkeeping and now realize you need to outsource some or all of it.

If any of this sounds familiar, I can help! I am an experienced Bookkeeper & Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor Software Trainer who can:
• Install & set up a new or clean up an existing QuickBooks company file
• Train you and/or your staff to get the most out of QuickBooks software
• Prepare personalized training manuals
• Catch up, clean up and/or do the ongoing bookkeeping

How did you (or plan to) fund your business startup?
Credit cards, personal savings
What was (is) the biggest hurdle in getting your business off the ground?
Making the leap of faith in leaving Corporate America
What would you advise other women interested in starting a similar business?
Try to start it part-time while keeping your "day job" until it gets established
What has been your biggest mistake?
I'm not sure it was a mistake but rather something I just would have not done in hindsight which is taking on a business partner for the 1st few years who had different ideas than I did about the direction to take the business in as it took off
What has been your smartest move?
Parting ways with the business partner so each of us could grow in our own separate directions without standing in the way of the other one
Are you willing to answer questions from other women business owners about your business?
Yes
What is your email address?
