- Where did you get your idea for your business or the business you'd like to start?
- I had alot of women ask me for advice on website design, promotion, advertising etc within other forums. It was easier to create something to support everyone within the same site than to help everyone individually.
This means that I can reach more women with the free service that I offer.
I also have a couple of online webstores.

- As mentioned before, I have a site that gives women in business the chance to advertise their businesses for free. Almost an online directory for potential shoppers/traffic but with alot more info.
In addition to this, we have articles on how to promote your site through the search engines and various other support.

- If you have a passion - then give it a go. I am currently running three websites but it's Web-Mums that gives me the most pleasure as I am able to share my expertise and help alot of other women. We have many businesses that have joined us to promote themselves but have also gained or shared knowledge and advice.

I'm on your site right now going through the google stuff. I have no idea what a sitemap is or how to submit it but I did manage to submit my website to google and to open directory project. I am currently spending $50/day on google adwords and get roughly 130 visitors a day but am only averaging 1/2 orders a day. Any tips you can offer would be great!!
