Hi Rachna,
Thanks for wrote me on my comment wall.
Also thanks for the friendship ;)
I'm also just startup my online business & still learning how to build my business coming future.
I agreed what Donna, Ash & Dian suggestion to sell your products on etsy. I'm also a member on Etsy. I wish to have my luck to sell my Jewelry over there. Soon I'll list my handmade crafts on etsy.
May lots of good luck & much more success on your business.
I agree with Dian and Ash about Etsy. You need to have the ability for others to see your product. Pricing can be tough when you first get started. Be sure to charge enough to compensate yourself for the time spent developing your product, your time spent on administrative work, etc. Don't have the mindset that you are having so much fun, that you undervalue yourself. Always be sure to take time away from work to be with your family and relax! Best of luck to you!!
Definitely some sort of online portfolio. :) Etsy is a great way to start selling your products when you just don't have to money for your own website. Though, your own domain name should be something to look into.
From there, you can get the word out by networking, business cards, newsletters....
Once you have something visual set up for retailers to view, it's all about pitching the sell from your end.
Good luck! I have my first wholesale project in the works now. It's just a little trinket shop/gas station, but it's definitely a step in the right direction. :)
