- The idea to stop tiddling with it and really focus came from my oldest son who said, "Mom...why don't you make it a business?

- We assist in conceputalizing and visually articulating whatever it is the client has as a vison for their event. We present that vision through customized design that is exhibited through ambiance and decor.

- personal savings
- What was (is) the biggest hurdle in getting your business off the ground?
- Time:) I'm also a Registered Nurse while running my business so I can "maintain " during slow seasons. Also, I have to say "marketing". I have no experience in marketing and all of my clients have come as referrals from previous clients. It will just take one major client to put me on the map...Oprah...are you reading this? Call me.
- What would you advise other women interested in starting a similar business?
- Do not let anyone discourage you. It is your dream and yours to live. Be realistic and if you know your "dream" isn't an invalidated hallucination, then swim out to meet your ship and make it happen.
- What has been your biggest mistake?
- Not going for it sooner. I'm now 52.
- What has been your smartest move?
- Listening to my son. Did I just say that!? Joining organizations and becoming active with women who are respectful, respected and driven not only to acheive their personal goals but do not hesitate to help others acheive theirs. NAWBO is my first solid example.

You can change your profile photo for a network you already belong to on that network. Log in to the network and click the “My Settings” link on the right side of the page. Click the “Browse” button under the Profile Photo field to locate an image on your computer. When you upload a new photo, the old one will be deleted.
New profile photos can take up to thirty minutes to show up on networks you belong to, so don’t worry if your new photo doesn’t appear immediately!
