I've been a designer for the past 10 years so starting my own graphic design business 5 years ago was the perfect fit.

What was (is) the biggest hurdle in getting your business off the ground?

Learning how to network. I didn't know ANYTHING about networking groups when I started.

What would you advise other women interested in starting a similar business?

Network. Network. Network. It can be difficult at first, but well worth it.

What has been your biggest mistake?

Not having a follow-up system in place earlier.
