Having my own law firm was a very personal and challenging decision. It is an honorable profession that allows me to be productive and independent for many years to come.

Mediation and Negotiation services; Business consulting; Legal representation in several areas. i.e. administrative law, family law, consumer advocacy; collections and debt negotiation; real estate and landlord tenant.
How did you (or plan to) fund your business startup?
personal savings
What was (is) the biggest hurdle in getting your business off the ground?
Referrals is the best way to begin and maintain a successful law practice. I was fortunate to receive referrals immediately from both family, friends, colleagues and both the Long Beach Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
What would you advise other women interested in starting a similar business?
Law School as well as the practice of law are challenging and time consuming. The profession requires a long term and very focused commitment. It is very rewarding if you are prepared for what it has to offer.
What has been your biggest mistake?
Trusting exactly what clients tell me. There are undoubtedly at least two sides to every story.
What has been your smartest move?
Maintaining my trusted network of friends and colleagues and taking the plunge to have my own firm.
