What was (is) the biggest hurdle in getting your business off the ground?
Working a part-time job while launching my new business has been my biggest challenge.
What would you advise other women interested in starting a similar business?
Have a planned schedule that you adhere to, allowing yourself some flexibility. Do your research first!
What has been your biggest mistake?
I didn't know enough about websites before I launched into having one developed. I wish I would have spent more time researching this area. I also did not develop my "niche" market soon enough. I am still working on that.
What has been your smartest move?
Joining the Spokane Chapter of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) the Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce and BNI. These associations have helped me in my networking efforts and I have found much support and encouragement from the other members.
