I admire that. My company is in its infancy. My website is about 95% completed. The development took a lot longer than I thought. A year in March.
I do have some people in place, some PR, content writer, seo, etc. My goal is to go Global so I will always be striving to get there, so therefore I love talking to people and especially people who can help my company. My magazine has an events page and it is free. We may be able to featured one of your groups later on.

Great talking with you. When you have some time we can talk a little more indepth about our respective companies. I'd love to hear more about your endeavor.

I would love to. I feel the success of my business is going to be based on the strength of my clients. Having said that I don't plan to be a company that takes on everyone who offers. I want solid clients that are run by people of vision and integrity so that I can really get behind their projects and be a driving and contributing force toward their success. Lets talk more!

Barbara! Welcome to MyWomanOwnedBusiness.com! I totally relate to your epiphany. That's how I felt about designing this site. My "day job" is editor of OC Metro Magazine, a business magazine that covers Orange County. We (everyone in print media) are all concerned about where media is headed. We know it's to the web. Where did you get your idea for your business or the business you'd like to start?
I had been in real estate for a few years but it just didn't seem to be working for me, no matter how hard I tried.
I was out walking one day, talking to God, and I said, God, I know this r.e. job is not your plan for me. Everything I do, doesn't work out. I'm honest, I give 150%. What gives?
I started having this idea of creating a website in a luxury magazine format, but instead of pictures of the luxury brand product in a one dimensional viewing with video,dresses would flow on the runways, women could be shown broading a private jet wearing those knockout Christian Louboutin Stilettos and a Michael Kors dress. Giving women consumers something to yearn for the shoes, the dress, the adventure of traveling by private jet. Creating interactive audience partcipation using emotion.
The website, www.link2globalluxury.com, is in a luxury magazine format, with a video and slideshow advertising platform, linked with a social networking, "word of mouth" platform. The advertising is done by purchasing prepaid webpages, where luxury brand advertisers can manage their own page, upload as many videos and slideshows as they want, decorate their site with wallpaper, music, word text, links to their company website, images and a language package for international use. Advertising is also available on the homepage premium videos and featured videos. Optional flash banner ads, where viewer can be linked to prepaid webpages, homepage videos and slideshows.
Articles of interest and geared for the upwardly mobile will be featured. Plus a forum where brand advertisers/consumer and consumer/consumer can interact.

Letting people know that my finances were limited. They worked with me because they were excited and believed in the project. It created a new round of excitement for me and pushed me to keep at it.
