I think as long as you use the subcategories properly it should work just fine. Some people decide to have two separate Etsy stores to maintain consistency in each and for advertising purposes. I think it depends on your goals. Even with two stores you can reference each store in your profiles. But one store is just easier to manage. :) I love subcategories. They are a perfect solution. lol

Your hats are SOOOO cute!!! And I agree - not having paypal on a site is a big mistake. So many people love the convenience. :)

Jill is so kind. I am a knitter, too! We will definitely have to get together with our yarn. ;)

My first Etsy sale!

Wow - I can't believe it! I actually had my first sale on my Etsy site today!!! Someone from St. Louis whom I don't even know looked at my jewelry and liked it enough to buy the Purple Shimmer Necklace and Earrings! It is a very heady feeling to have your work appreciated by strangers - so far, I have mostly sold to friends and neighbors, and I hate to say it, I always feel so insecure about my work, that I feel that they are doing me a favor. But it is a totally different thing when someone

My Etsy Website is up!

Yay! I finally have my Etsy site up at penelopedesign.etsy.com after a lot of hours hunched over the computer and trying to figure out how to upload photos, how to describe my items, etc. I also joined the Ning social group We Love Etsy which has been a fantastic resource for me as I make my way through this new and somewhat intimidating world of the internet. I still need to post more items, so off I go!
