Hi Sheri, Welcome.
My husband creates stained glass pieces too and sells them on my Greyt Inspirations website. He was very happy this morning because he just sold one of his nicer pieces of art.
He has been doing stained glass for about 15 years and it is a super outlet and relaxation for him. Eventually, he would like to open a stained glass shop and teach (he is an instructor by trade, but teaches aerospace mechanics).
He is working on a couple of pieces right now that are on order....
Between my business and his stained glass art, we are kept very busy... but loving it.

Where did you get your idea for your business or the business you'd like to start?
I wanted to make tile and glass mosaic tabletops and made an 18 inch glass on glass tabletop as an example and from that came the idea to make Lazy Susans and Mirrors in stained glass.
I've also always wanted to write and just recently had my first article published on line.

Credit cards, personal savings
What was (is) the biggest hurdle in getting your business off the ground?
Marketing has been the most challenging.

The biggest learning lesson for me was thinking I could mass produce my product on my own. Mt product needs too much labor for me to sale wholesale, which I tried earlier this year.
What has been your smartest move?
Reassessing what I have created and being flexible to try different ideas if one is not working.
Are you willing to answer questions from other women business owners about your business?
