A space for women business owners to share.
One of my biggest challenges is finding a cohesive look, or brand. I like to play with all sorts of mediums because I get easily bored if I do too much of one thing. However, I have found that having 'all sorts of things' on my website makes it look cluttered. My goal is to get a "look" that is recognizeable.
My good friend Nicole of Yen Jewelry has a "look" that is so HER. When I see a piece of jewelry, I know instantly that it is hers. The same with Jennifer Cassady. They have "looks" that are theirs.
I'm still struggling with that. But I'm on my way. My new website has been up for a few days and I'm really happy with the professional and classy look. I've gotten more newsletter sign ups in 4 days than I ever did in a full year with my old website. So I think at least one thing has gone right. :)
