How do we get in our way? Well, what we do is we create blocks. We create problems for ourselves that actually stop us from connecting to that person that we want to connect with. And what happens in getting in your own way is basically you either pick your thoughts to a place of, “Oh, this can’t work. Oh this can’t work,” or, “I don’t want to waste my time. I don’t want to put myself out there if this isn’t going to work.” All of that is getting in your own way.
The other way you get in your own way is you actually make the assumption of, “Because he doesn’t do this that means he doesn’t care anymore!” But you have to keep in mind men and women are completely different. We don’t think alike we don’t respond alike. And when you start expecting your man to respond as you would as a woman you will get much farther in relationships.
So, what you want to do is make sure that you don’t get in your own way and if your results of what you’ve been doing recently to try and connect with that man in your life and it’s not working, I can almost guarantee that’s exactly what you’re doing is getting in your own way.
